A unique country villa with distant views of the sea, near Es Cana. Casa Pedro is in beautiful countryside - on a peaceful hillside surrounded by trees and farmland.
The house is whitewashed with thick stone walls - a traditional Ibizan design full of character. The entrance leads into the open-plan lounge and dining room which has been tastefully decorated in a Morrocan theme. From here there is a double and a twin bedroom which share an entrance (the twin has a separate outdoor access), and there are two bathrooms; a full bathroom and a shower bathroom. A third bedroom, a double, also heads off from here. Up six steps is the spacious kitchen and second seating area which completes the main part of the house. The fourth bedroom is an en-suite double room located in an extension to the main house, and has a separate entrance a few steps from the main entrance - perfect for privacy.
The gardens are expansive, private and peaceful with beautiful views of countryside all around. There are several terraces with sea views, a huge, new pool with Jacuzzi and a large sun deck with a barbecue and dining terrace - all of which make this villa a real Ibizan treat.
Casa Pedro is a brilliant house, relaxing and private in pretty countryside, but yet still close to local restaurants and shops. The resort of Es Cana and San Carlos village are just a short drive away, so the famous hippy market, shops, bars, cafés and restaurants are all closeby. Also nearby are the lovely beaches of Aguas Blancas, es Figueral, Pou d'es Lleó and also the larger resort of Santa Eulalia.
a classic ibizan villa with beautiful countryside and sea views
Please note, this villa now has full air-conditioning for 2010. Also, all rooms from the lounge area are either up or down several steps so the villa is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Es Cana - A sweep of golden sand where children can play safely all day, cheerful places to eat out, lively family entertainment bars, and a tiny harbour filled with fishing boats and fabulous views across the sea to distant islands; this is the family friendly resort of Es Cana.
Santa Eulalia - There is a beautiful, palm-lined promenade running the length of the broad and sandy beach which is perfectly safe for children. Santa Eulalia has a long-established reputation as the island's gastronomic and cultural centre. Art Galleries, the beautiful and exclusive Yacht Marina, some of the island's best restaurants, some very exclusive shopping, and a thriving all-year community, ensure that life in Santa Eulalia is led at a rather slower and more relaxing pace. There are some excellent bars here too, but the nightlife is nothing like Ibiza town or San Antonio.
San Carlos - Home of the largest Hippy market on the island - A rather small but very well-known village north of Santa Eulalia. San Carlos has a long-standing reputation as a meeting point for the hippies and the foreign residents of the island, who gather over a cup of coffee or a snack in one of the cafe-bars, or at the hippy market every saturday in the Las Dalias restaurant. San Carlos is also the junction where all the roads meet, that later branch off to the beaches on the east coast of the island, such as Cala Leña, Cala Nova, Cala Mastella.
